Description

1973 Triumph X75 Hurricane
VIN: TRX75 PH01492
Mileage: 3860

This bike can be shipped anywhere in the world. Buyer pays for shipping. I will certainly help facilitate pick up of the bike.

Here is a very nice example of the super rare Triumph Hurricane X75. This one is original and unrestored. This bike has always been kept inside climate controlled. I have owned it for about 4 years however I have known the previous owner and this particular bike for about 30 years now. Previous owner was a Triumph dealer back in the day.

The VIN on frame, engine and title match as they should. It has a clear South Carolina title in my name.

This awesome bike starts right up on the first kick. It idles smoothly and accelerates to full throttle with no hesitation and accelerates quickly with plenty of torque. This bike handles great, the frame is straight, original and never altered. Everything works on this bike as it should. The clutch and transmission works as it should, shifts smoothly through all gears. The fiberglass body set has the original gelcoat and is in very good condition. The 3 into 3 exhaust is original, beautiful and sounds great. The chrome on this bike is very nice with no rust. Leaks a little oil, probably did when it was new. The metal fuel tank is perfect inside, absolutely no rust, looks like brand new. This bike has Borrani rims front and rear as it should.

Overall this is a very nice X75, beautiful, unrestored, original, low miles. It is incredibly difficult to find an X75 in this condition. The opportunity to own a bike like this is very limited, now is your time to own one of only 1200 of the fastest appreciating motorcycles in the world!

Recent service included:
• oil and filter change
• new air filter
• new spark plugs
• new fuel lines
• new Dunlop tires, tubes, and rim strips
• carbs completely serviced with new carb kits and properly synchronized
• new forks seals and fork oil
• new lower steering yoke
• new battery

I accept the following types of payment; cash, electronic money transfer from your bank to my account, bank checks have to clear before the bike can leave.
