SOLD… 1970 Husky 400 Cross

Here is a very nice original 400 Cross, it is all original except for the rear mud flap and the fork boots which are period correct and installed back in the day. Still has the original Magura controls and Magura grips that it left the factory with. Still has it’s original cables and the front Trellborg too, (rear tire replaced at some point). Still has it’s original Akront alloy rims. Correct VIN on the frame and engine for 1970, (the first year for this model). Tank is clean with no rust inside and no dents outside. Chrome on the forks is very nice, no rust anywhere on the fork tubes, I checked under the boots and the chrome is perfect there too. This bike runs, shifts, and stops as it should, I recommend service and tune before riding. Engine has tons of compression. This Husky has such a nice patina and looks awesome with tons of character, I hope the new owner does not restore it, they are only original once. This bike gets tons of compliments.

It has been in my collection for about 3 years. I bought it from the original owner. This is the model bike that Steve McQueen rode in the movie “On Any Sunday”. Great collectible bike. I’m sure you will enjoy it.
