Description
1965 Triumph TT Special Replica – In good condition – Runs very good – Clear title
This is a T120R Bonneville with the rare and correct factory parts for a 1965 TT Special. This bike looks just like a TT, but this one sells for half the price. I did not build this sweet bike, it came to me just as you see it in the photos, set up like a TT Special with:
- folding pegs
- alloy fenders
- no lights
- battery-less ignition (not ET)
- correct wire harness
- tacho only
- TT pipes
- proper decals
Easy to start, literally fires right up on the first kick every time. Very powerful, sounds very strong, lots of low to mid range torque, sounds and feels like it has hot cams. Nice collectible bike or put lights on it and have a really cool street tracker.
Bike is an older high quality restoration now with light patina. Beautiful bike, tons of character, gets lots of attention at events. I fire it up and blast around the farm and various events every now and then.
Has Borriani alloy rims with stainless spokes, Borriani rims were a nice period correct upgrade back in the day.
Motor sounds awesome, no strange noises, very good compression, clutch feels good (a little stiff at first after sitting the winter, but that is typical for Triumph 650), transmission shifts good, brakes work just like Triumph brakes do. Nothing is cracked or broken. Nothing on the frame has been altered. Tires are dry cracked but hold air. Tacho is a little jumpy. I have too many bikes and I don’t get enough time to ride them all so I’m selling some.
